This Privacy Policy explains what information the NotiFynd Android app (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, why it is collected, how it is used, and the choices you have. By installing or using NotiFynd you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

NotiFynd is a notification recovery app. It requires Notification Access permission to read and store your device notifications locally.

All notification data is stored locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to our servers or any third party. Data is removed when you uninstall the app.

We do not collect or store:

Your name, email, phone number, address, or any other contact details
Photos, contacts, calendars, microphone audio, or precise location
Notification content on any remote server

2. Notification Access permission

NotiFynd requires the Notification Access (NotificationListenerService) permission to function. This permission allows the app to:

Read incoming notifications to store them locally
Detect when notifications are dismissed to enable recovery

You can revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Apps → Special app access → Notification access. Without this permission, NotiFynd cannot capture or recover notifications.

3. How we use the information

Local notification storage is used solely to let you search, browse, and recover notifications on your device.
AdMob uses data to serve ads — personalized where you have consented, non-personalized otherwise.
Firebase Analytics is used in aggregate form only to understand usage patterns.
Firebase Crashlytics uses crash data to fix bugs.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties beyond the providers listed above.

4. Data retention & deletion

Free users: notifications are automatically deleted after 5 days.
Premium users: unlimited retention — notifications are never auto-deleted.
You can manually delete individual notifications or bulk-delete via multi-select.
Uninstalling the app removes all stored data permanently.

5. Children’s privacy

NotiFynd is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app targets users aged 13 and above.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
